When will 2027 Paris Marathon registration open?
So far, no exact registration opening date has been published through an official channel.

The new organiser is the Cadence consortium, made up of several event-industry specialists:
- Havas Events, lead member of the consortium;
- Keneo;
- Avena Event, now known as OSE.
Cadence will organise the Paris Marathon and Paris Half Marathon for the four editions held between 2027 and 2030.
The proposal selected by the City includes improvements to the runner experience, better integration of the event into Paris neighbourhoods, inclusion measures and stronger environmental commitments.
The Paris Marathon is also changing its name
Another major change: from 2027, the event will be called the ASICS Marathon de Paris.
ASICS will replace Schneider Electric as the race’s title partner, making it the ASICS Marathon de Paris 2027. The Council of Paris approved this new naming agreement in July 2026. The partnership is set to cover the 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 editions.
It remains the same 42.195-kilometre marathon.

A potentially optional race T-shirt
The race T-shirt is expected to be offered as an optional extra. Runners may also be able to have a garment they already own customised.
The proposal also includes the option to voluntarily decline the finisher’s medal and receive a “Green Runner” distinction instead.
Redesigned aid stations
Solid food at aid stations is expected to prioritise local, seasonal products served without individual packaging. The stated aim is to significantly reduce waste generated by the event.

The Paris Marathon attracts tens of thousands of runners. The City reports more than 66,000 registered participants for the 2026 edition, suggesting exceptionally high demand for 2027.
