Angélique beats her personal record at the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris 2024!

Angélique ran the Paris Half Marathon for the first time in 2023. Without real preparation, it was a very difficult and challenging experience. In 2024, accompanied by RunMotion Coach, she is getting ready to run the Semi de Paris again. She tells us her story.

How did your Paris Half Marathon 2024 go?

In 2024, I came back to run on the Parisian streets but this time with the RunMotion Coach training at the rate of 4 workouts per week + 1 strength training session. In total, the preparation lasted 3 months, which is 12 weeks. It should be noted that the Paris Half Marathon is an intermediate goal since my main goal will be the Marathon de Paris next April.

Regarding my Paris Half Marathon, I can say that I am delighted. I didn’t suffer through my race, but I enjoyed it from start to finish, without fatigue, stress, or any particular difficulty.

The climbs or slight inclines from last year that I found so difficult went by smoothly and the kilometers flew by in a flash. I enjoyed this superb atmosphere that carried me throughout the race and I loved it. To top it off, I improved my personal best by 20 minutes, finishing the Paris Half Marathon in 2h16.

How did you discover the RunMotion Coach app?

I discovered the RunMotion Coach app through a friend on social media in 2023 and I have been using it for 10 months now, in the Premium version.

What encouraged you to download and try the app?

It allowed me to structure my training and prepare for my race goals.

What do you like most about the app?

I really appreciate the personalization of the app and the ability to modify training days during the week.

After the Paris Half Marathon 2024, what is your next sporting challenge?

My next goal will be the Marathon de Paris 2024. Emil Zatopek said: “If you want to run, run a mile. If you want to change your life, run a marathon.” This is the life I have chosen to lead, and I hope to cross that mythical finish line to become a MARATHON RUNNER… To be continued.

Congratulations Angélique, there is no reason for you not to achieve your goal of becoming a marathon runner! 😉
