How did your Nice-Cannes Marathon go?
My race went very well thanks to good preparation, both in training and nutrition! It was my first marathon, and my goal was to finish it, even though I have been running for years. My second goal was to finish it in less than 3h45, but the application, which is based on my Garmin performances, suggested that I could aim for a better time.
How did you manage the preparation for the Nice-Cannes Marathon?
I did three training sessions per week for 8 weeks, as I had already tried more intensive programs, with five to six sessions per week, but I arrived on D-Day very tired and injured. Therefore, three training sessions per week seemed to be the right compromise.
What motivates you to run?
My motivation to run comes from the feeling of freedom when you are alone in beautiful places, as well as from race day; sharing this sport, still not very popular, with people of all levels who have the common goal of fighting the clock.
How did you learn about the RunMotion Coach application?
I discovered the application through a friend who also runs very often, and who often participates in long distance races.
What encouraged you to download and test the application?
Several people recommended me to try this application, so I downloaded it out of curiosity.
What do you like best about the application?
What I like best about this application, and what sets it apart from others I have tried, is the synchronization with our Garmin account! Thanks to this, the application can suggest training sessions adapted to our level, rather than workouts with random paces.
After the Nice-Cannes Marathon, what is your next sporting challenge?
After the Nice-Cannes Marathon, it will be the Marathon des Sables!

Congratulations Mario from the entire RunMotion Coach team 😉
